•The chapter shows that Mr Utterson, Dr Jekyll and Dr Lanyon were best friends.
•Mr Utterson has observed that Dr Jekyll is ill and when Mr Utterson asked about Jekyll Dr Lanyon doesn’t want to talk about it.
